hosting amanda's bridal shower!

As you may remember from the invitations, the bridal shower that my mom and I hosted for Amanda was this past Saturday!  It was a 10:00 AM brunch, and it was such a fun time of laughter and fellowship.  Leanna also came home to help us host, and she was amazing!  She took a ton of pictures and pretty much did anything I asked, so I can't thank her enough for being there.  Mom did all the food, and people were seriously raving.  Amanda even took home a whole plate of it for later!

And the amazing wine basket from Jessica!  This basket was so adorable... she included a bottle of wine for their wedding night, the birth of their first child, etc.  SUCH a cute idea and so thoughtful!

Proud MOH!  Our first game involved everyone writing down a specific memory of or quote from Amanda.  We then were supposed to guess who wrote each one, but Amanda ended up just shouting it out most of the time, haha!  It was such a fun trip down memory lane.

Our second game involved everyone writing down a silly vow for Amanda to say to Nick.  She had to read them all at the end!  (I'm thinking I should switch this sheet of paper with her actual vows during the ceremony... what do you think?!?)

In a way, I'm sad it's over, because it was fun to plan (maybe because Mom did the hard parts)!  But we had such a fun time chatting and getting to know each other...
