Lucky, lucky us! Our new roommate, Erika, is a FANTASTIC cook! Last night, she invited a couple girlfriends from college over, and the five of us had a dinner party complete with mushroom risotto, baked vegetables, and red wine. It was amazing! So good, in fact, that that picture is not actually a picture of her risotto because I was too busy stuffing my face to remember to take pictures of our little kitchen miracle. I think I even forgot for about thirty minutes that there was football on TV, which is maybe even more of a miracle, if you know me well at all.
Super excited that we have a fabulous new chef in the house! Happy Labor Day weekend!
