Last Tuesday, Molly, Erika, a couple of Erika's friends, and I headed over to the brand new Samuel Beckett's in Shirlington for trivia night! Even though Trivial Pursuit is my favorite game of all time, I had still never played trivia in a bar before. And it was a blast! We followed the rules and actually only had six people at our table, so we didn't win against the teams who pulled in fifteen people, but we didn't lose, either! The killer was when they made us answer ten whole questions on Keanu Reeves. Who follows the scintillating career of Keanu Reeves and is proud to say so?!? We maybe got one question in that round correct. But a few others were more fun, like presidential history and unscrambling celebrity names (I know, nerd alert). Oh, and we had to identify TV theme songs and then identify whether they were on HBO or Showtime. Since I didn't grow up with either of those channels and don't have them currently, that was a challenge. But, it's fun to see what random things your friends might know, so if you've never done it, DO IT!
