unc v. georgia tech

Another one of the perks of going home last weekend was getting to go to another Carolina football game!  And, to make it even more fun, Bekah came with my family and me!  Even though Carolina lost (again), we had so much fun getting dressed up and walking around campus before the game.  (And we got our frat on at Julian's, of course).  But I got to see lots of old friends, and Bekah got to see some ACC football.  Plus, she's a Georgia fan, so she had no problem pulling against Georgia Tech!

First, we got to see Leanna play on Franklin Street in front of the new Krispy Kreme!

And then they played in the middle of the street during a red light!

Here Comes Carolina!

We got SO burned during the game.  Turns out noon games = brutal heat and relentless sun!  But that didn't keep us from partying... we got a head start on celebrating Dad's birthday, and Mom made delicious turkey burgers!

Bekah even got some sweet pink-sided Phi Mu Ray Ban-ish sunglasses from one of my good friends' sisters, who didn't even think twice about just taking them off her face and giving them away... what a sweet girl!  And Bekah looks super cool in them, but I'll let her provide you with pictures.  ;)


Well, so much for Carolina football being on top of things this week, but the rest of the conference did a lot better!  We have Rutgers next weekend... go heels!
