We're taking on some pretty big redecorating efforts here at Casa de ThomasWinsteadGebertHutchison (as in Molly just bought us a new leather couch that we're getting this weekend!), but one of Molly's and my favorite places to get inspired and spend ridiculously low amounts of money is Ikea! We ventured there last night with our friend, Rachael, and found these fantastic metal lanterns for $7 and $14 each! But instead of putting candles inside them (predictable... something we never want to be), we put baby plants!
The plant in the middle is artificial, so we're really excited about not being able to kill that one. But the smaller ones on either side are real, so for those of you who remember the brutal death of the "herb garden", we're officially getting our second chance at plant parenthood. Pun.
So, come have dinner at our house and enjoy the photosynthesis while you eat!
No but really, we're extra proud of this project. It literally popped into our heads at exactly the same time, and we tend to listen when our brains ride the same wave. Martha Stewart, if you're reading this, have your people contact our people.
