And our power stayed on all weekend! My friend, David, came to visit me from Charlotte this weekend, so we tried to have fun despite the wind and rain, but a lot of things ended up closing early on Saturday since Virginia declared a state of emergency. It was even still raining a little Sunday morning, but after the hurricane passed, the weather was beautiful!
We did head over to Annapolis yesterday, which seemed to have been hit a little harder than we were...

But in our neighborhood, there were just a few branches down and leaves EVERYWHERE. But we rode it out by baking a pizza and watching
Valkyrie. Not a bad hurricane party. Hope all of you got through it alright, too!
